Family: I was born in South Carolina, and grew up in Alabama, Tennessee and New Jersey. My upbringing was in a conservative Christian home where God came first and His word was always the last word. Because our parents were both college graduates, education was emphasized for me and my three younger brothers. At all times we were encouraged to explore God's world and the knowledge He has made available to us. Currently, I make my residence in south central Kansas with my English Mastiffs, Strider.

Work:My career life has been diverse in both positions held and areas of discipline. I have worked in the medical field as a pathology assistant, dietitian, nutritionist and alternative health practitioner; in the office environment as secretary, clinic administrator, auditor and project manager; and in manufacturing environment in electrical/electronic assembly & test, hard metal machining (mills & lathes), composite assembly, and manufacturing research and development. These diversities have taught me to be sensitive to the stress unique for each walk of life as well as recognizing that we all share some basic concerns.

Health:As many others I have experienced, my journey in health started by taking it for granted then gradually realizing that active participation is required to obtain and retain good health. This passion for good health led me to not only be aware of my own health issues but also to desire to assist others in their pursuit of optimum health. The result was not only to choose a college education in the nutrition arena but to also continue my studies in the 'real world'.

My journey in complementary health began in earnest four years ago as a patient. The healer who worked with me encouraged my interests and began my training in the energy psychology discipline. With my interests ignited, I have pursued Alternative Health education to not only be a practitioner but also as an instructor.

Current Areas of Practice:I work as a practitioner in the Wichita area. My clientele encompasses emotionally traumatized dogs and cats as well as their human owners and friends. Physical manifestations of emotional trauma such as back pain and inflamed eyes are some of the most dramatic healings for the casual observer. I have worked with all age groups from newborn upward.
